Etymology	Kryptopterus: From the Greek kryptos, meaning hidden and pteryx, meaning fin; in reference to the reduced or absent dorsal fin of this group of fishes.

Size	150mm or 5.9" SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp.
Identification	The commonly available Glass Catfish, K. vitreolus is often labelled as this larger and rarely (if ever) imported species. Kryptopterus bicirrhis is a larger adult fish.
